Hydro Jetting & Drain Cleaning

A deeper clean for lines that keep backing up.

We inspect on camera first, because jetting is not right for every pipe. If it is, you get a documented before and after and an honest recommendation on maintenance timing.

No scare tactics and no fake urgency. We tell you what we would do in our own home and let you make the call.

A cable clears a hole through a clog. Hydro-jetting cleans the whole pipe, scouring grease, sludge, and buildup off the walls so the line drains the way it was meant to.

For recurring clogs, heavy grease, or older lines that keep slowing down, jetting is the thorough fix. We camera the line first to confirm jetting is right for your pipe, clean it under high-pressure water, then show you the after footage so you can see the difference. As always, the price is flat and quoted before we start.

When we recommend jetting, and when we don't

We recommend jetting when a cable can't finish the job, and we show you why on camera:

  • Roots left behind after cabling. On one duplex the cleanout was 3 inches on a 4-inch line, so the biggest blade that fit couldn't reach roots hanging from the top of the pipe 14 to 20 feet out. The line flows fine today, but those roots will grow back into a blockage.
  • Roots too heavy to see past. In Edina's White Oaks neighborhood, a root mass at 95 feet stopped the camera, so the line is booked for jetting and then a camera pass the rest of the way to the city. Two homes in Edina's Morningside area are also booked for main line jetting after their inspections.
  • Scale in long cast iron lines. In older apartment buildings with lines over 100 feet, scale narrows the pipe enough to stop a camera. Jetting scours it off the walls.
  • Sludge a camera can't see past. One line had sludge 10 to 20 feet out and a turn the camera couldn't clear at 46 feet, so the plan was to jet from the upstairs toilet.
  • Stubborn branch lines. A bathroom vanity line that a cable and an air snake couldn't clear opened up after jetting and one more pass with the cable. On another, a tee in the line called for a mini jetter with a drop head.

We don't recommend jetting for a simple clog a cable clears, or for a pipe that is cracked or collapsing. Flat rate: $1,299 for a residential main line, $599 for a branch line.
