Water Heater Replacement & Installation

The honest approach, now for your water heater too.

Same flat-rate pricing and straight talk you would expect from us on a drain line. You get the number before we start, and the recommendation that fits your home, not our margin.

Installed by licensed plumbers, permitted, and done to code, so it is right the first time and safe for your family.

A failing water heater is not something to put off, and it is not a job for guesswork. Our licensed plumbers replace and install tank and tankless units correctly, safely, and up to code.

Whether your old heater is leaking, running out of hot water, or simply past its lifespan, we help you choose the right replacement for your home and install it properly. We handle the permitting, the connections, and the safe removal of the old unit, and we leave the space clean when we are done.

Thinking about going tankless? We will walk you through the trade-offs honestly, the higher up-front cost, the endless hot water, the space savings, and the longer lifespan, so you can decide what actually fits your household rather than being sold the most expensive option in the truck.

What we see on water heater calls

  • A leak at the base of a 2004 unit in Minnetonka. Water was collecting near the burner. The house had two heaters, from 2004 and 2009, so we recommended replacing both at once and gave the homeowner two options to take to their home warranty company.
  • A dripping relief valve on a 2008 heater. That valve is a safety device. On a heater that age, we recommend replacing the heater rather than just the valve.
  • Corroding connections. On one heater we drained the tank and replaced the connections with dielectric unions, which stop the corrosion that happens where copper meets steel.
  • "Not enough hot water" that wasn't the heater's fault. The heater had been turned down to its lowest setting. Turning it back up solved it.

When it is time to replace, we install the new unit, haul the old one away, and leave the space clean. Recent replacements include one in Plymouth.
