A drain or sewer cleaning removes a blockage. It does not repair a damaged pipe.

A drain or sewer cleaning removes a blockage. It does not repair a damaged pipe.
If roots are entering through broken joints, roots keep growing. If the pipe is cracked, the crack is still there. If scale has narrowed the line, a cable may restore flow today without touching the buildup underneath.
There is no reliable way to know when a blockage will come back. Promising that a cleaning will last months or years is a guess, no matter how the work is done or who does it. If the same line clogs every few months, the clog isn't the problem. It is a symptom of a pipe that needs a different solution.
Sometimes that solution is scheduled maintenance. Sometimes it is hydro jetting to clear heavy scale. Sometimes it is trenchless lining to restore the structural integrity of the pipe.
The only way to know is to inspect the line.
That is why every main sewer cleaning we perform includes a camera inspection at no additional cost. We show you exactly what we see, explain your options, and recommend only the level of maintenance or structural intervention the evidence supports. Many companies “upsell” for camera inspections; we believe it should be a standard part of our service. Customers deserve to see that the cleaning is thorough and know what’s going on underground, especially when neighborhoods like Linden Hills, Morningside, and Fulton likely have emerging sewer issues they’re not aware of.
